this is such a peaceful album. i feel like this easily could have gotten boring but the vibes stayed up the whole time, definitely recommend this
Ween - The Mollusk

I've not heard much of Ween's stuff before, besides a couple songs that I was shown by @KaneBumpy, so I didn't know what to expect besides a lot of variety in genre. despite knowing this beforehand, this was still a surprise to me. I think it's really great that a band like Ween exists, a band that does genuinely whatever they want in their music. like, not many bands have a song like The Blarney Stone, which is then followed by It's Gonna Be Alright. I'm really impressed by this.
Converge - Jane Doe

I'm seeing Converge at a festival this year, so I figured I'd check out more of their stuff. this is the kind of stuff people who don't like metal are missing out on. the instrumentals on this are honestly mindblowing. from start to finish, its a burst of energy and kept me so engaged the whole runtime. this makes me even more excited to see them later this year. also, I asked my friend a while ago how many albums do I have to hear until I have beat music, and he said 1,855. this is my 1,855th ... read more
Iggy Pop - EVERY LOSER

this is a decent enough album, but Iggy could really do a lot better. there are defintely a couple bangers on here (Strung Out Johnny and Morning Show), but ask me, get Josh Homme back on production and you have another banger on hand like "Post Pop Depression". while I don't love this, Im happy to see Iggy out there still making music, and I hope he continues.
Nas - King's Disease III

a late review for this album, but its genuinely incredible that nas can release an album this good this late in his career, especially after a career as long and as varied as his. to me, this is his second best after illmatic. defintely one of the best HH albums this year. also, I saw this advertised on a screen at the AMC theater in my town and I think that's really funny
