Nishith delivers a collection of solid melodic songs, which prove to be a huge stepup from his previous works. A selection of melodies through his voice mix with fairly memorable instrumentals to make a set of entertaining songs. Some of the mixes can be weird, especially on not enough, but his voice is tuned well and works on every beat. The hooks on this are particularly memorable, but could've been brought and helped. He mostly does the same thing on this EP but it works pretty great, it's a sound he can develop and go further with- maybe be more in sync with the production but boy, it's sick.
Out on my own and by your side are clear hits, his songwriting and knowing what works on these songs really come through, but so much for forever might be the best song on it. So cool seeing NT tackle this genre for the first time and actually doing a pretty great job. So much potential here. Certain takes on the project could've done with a re record or a different take used, but mostly the vision is created and executed fairly strong. I would say the melodies, singing are the strong suits- with the mixing and deliveries at points being the weaker suits of the EP.
Solid EP, room for improvement but I'm happy with what was done here and I hope to hear this sound being taken to new highs on the next project. Big WS!
