This is the first time I've given a National song a dedicated listen and man, it took me places. The gentle crescendo and Idioteque-adjacent beat elevates this song to a new level that feels like it's soaring high up in the clouds. It's restrained, yet beautiful, and I really like it. Heartfelt, dreary, sad white boi music that I want more of.
EDIT: (85 ---> 96) Been coming back to this song a lot since it came out, since it became pretty relevant in my life and the lyrics started to really speak to me. I love this one, it's grown on me so much. I probably bump this most days, at the moment.
