There's not much I can say about Madvillainy that everyone else hasn't said. Everyone knows MF DOOM is a legend, and he cements that exceptionally well with the release of this collaboration record with producer Madlib. Every single song on here is crafted to perfection, and it truly creates an experience that legitimately feels like I'm listening to a villain story comic book. Very few could do what MF DOOM could, and absolutely no duo could create such an album like DOOM and Madlib.

Fill in the blank: Visions of Bodies Being _______
I had given my first listen to There Existed an Addiction to Blood earlier this year, since I've been meaning to get more into Clipping. since my friend introduced me to them a couple years ago. I absolutely loved the haunting atmosphere to it, but it had me wanting more. Luckily, there's a funky little album that released a year later called Visions of Bodies Being Burned, acting as almost a sequel project to There Existed an Addiction to ... read more
CallMeCarson made a better Christmas album than Ludwig in a week just by shitposting.
Edit: Aw hell nah, Carson
Double Edit: My sister has a Carson YouTooz figure and we're gonna use it as a baseball
Last year we got 100 gecs, the dynamic duo that took hyperpop to the next level with their debut record 1000 gecs. This year, we have Food House, a duo that take that insane hyperpop sound and make it their own.
I kept seeing the tracks "Thos Moser," and "Mos Thoser," float around on the internet, and it wasn't until recently I decided to check those tracks out. To my surprise, they ended up being two of the most fun hyperpop songs I had ever heard. Filled to the brim ... read more
Christmas only really starts when Jacksfilms puts out another edition of Royalty Free Christmas songs
So I’ve known this guy for a couple of years, and I knew that he was capable of making great music, but never in my life did I expect he would go to make THIS.
Ladies and gentleman, this is Avenade, an Illinois based musician who specializes in noise rock and shoegaze. He previously got a bit of critical buzz for his debut record, It’s a Whimsical Afterlife. His debut project was a very loud and rough experience, but a very well crafted experience at that. The sharp guitars, the ... read more
Bladee sounding uninspired is something I thought I would never hear.
Alright, so if you don't know me, hi! I'm Schmoobin, and I am a bit of a Bladee fan. I started this journey earlier this year when 333 came out. I had actually listened to Icedancer first, since that seemed to be his most accessible project at that time, and I quite enjoyed how unique and creative it was, despite running on for a bit too long in my opinion. Then I listened to 333, and I think it's safe to say that that ... read more
It's cold outside. I'm walking to the local convenience store with only five dollars in my pocket. I have on a brown, lightly battered coat, worn out due to several years of usage. It keeps me warm enough, but it's very itchy. I try not to focus on it, so my head looks down at the uneven pavement, where light cracks litter the ground as my feet come into contact with every single one of them. Sometimes, I'd count the cracks I'd be stepping on.
"One, two, three, four, five, ... read more

THE PLAN IS SIMPLE
TODAY... will be a little different
So I’m just chilling, watching Ludwig stream tonight. As I’m writing this, him and his girlfriend are decorating the stream room for Christmas, and I guarantee it will look very nice during Pokémon Week starting tomorrow. I start to really listen to the Christmas music he plays in the background. I, along with many other people think that the singer sounds familiar. As the stream continues and the album ... read more
I can’t really compare this to anything in the electronic and drum & bass genre, since I don’t really listen to that genre, but if anything, I think The Signal was a really good introduction! When making a project, if you wanna appeal to me, you don’t have to go all out and create something super lyrical or deep or anything. All you need is a good vibe, and what Eli does on this record is form a very spacey atmosphere, full of twisting and turning droning synths and ... read more
GEORGE WHY ARE YOU SMONKING IN THE ALBUM COVER? SMONKING IS BAD WTFFFFF!!
I think what really separates A Hard Day's Night from the previous releases is that I feel the Beatles have really come into their own on this record. Everything that I liked about the previous two records have been upped a notch, and creates a much more personality filled, fun pop record. The first quality of note is that the Beatles have avoided doing cover songs on this record. Everything on A Hard Days Night is ... read more
Overall, With The Beatles isn't too much of a shift from Please Please Me, besides maybe a little bit of quality. Both records are in the same ball park. Of course, that also implies that With The Beatles is also very good, which it is! Though With The Beatles doesn't have as many standout iconic tracks like Please Please Me did, it makes up for in the overall quality throughout the record being pretty evenly spread out. Tracks like "All My Loving," "It Won't Be Long," ... read more
I remember back in middle school when I had been given my dads old IPod nano. Along with it came every album from a little band called The Beatles. I would listen to every Beatles song on there, so much to the point where I practically memorized every single album. I even tried to play as many Beatles songs as I could on guitar before I went on to pursue... other musical endeavors.
Anyways, the music. So Please Please Me has always been, and still is, a nice, fun pop record. Right off the ... read more
Fill in the blank: There Existed an Addiction to _______
I want your funniest answers!
I don’t really get scared by music, but this record painted very vivid and gruesome pictures in my head. I love how the horror really comes from how TRUE everything is, like gang violence and shootings and what not. However, it’s told like a tried and true horror story, all topped off with some effectively haunting, atmospheric, and sometimes jarring production. It all adds up to this... ... read more
I don't usually write reviews anymore, but I feel like Rollercoaster warrants one, for very many reasons.
Even though Ryan is my friend, I'm gonna try my best to write down my fully unbiased opinions. First off, yes, influences like clipping and Lil Darkie are very apparent throughout the EP, but I really feel like Ryan wears his influences on his belt really well, and manages to come into his own and make it unique. It creates an undeniably crazy and insane experience, one that I love. The ... read more
