Now,don't judge me because my rating ADHD is so high and thats because i never had time to change it so i just forgot about it over time and i guess i'll change it after this review, because i strongly believe that EVOLUTION is so much better and the essence of what made me like Joyner's music in the first place.
Evolution sounds and definetly feels like Joyner's most personal album yet and it definetly brought out the best sound Joyner ever had. His lyrics are much better here and his hunger for rapping feels really present. Production is amazing too and the album just feels really chill and cool. The features are also not overwhelming and that adds up to the personal side of it. It's a great way to come back from the hate ADHD had and to go back to his roots and i certainly really like this album. There are no misses and it actually offers a lot of chill tracks and a banger like Zim Zimma (which has such a groovy bass line),as well as Joyner's classic POV storytelling on Snitch.
I like it because it really illustrates his evolution as a person, not only an artist.
Also, the skits have some rly cringey voice acting and the cover is really weird. I'm sure 69 is hiding atm.
