Georgia - Seeking Thrills

On the whole, this new Georgia album is simple, groovy, catchy, and danceable. Very danceable. Every song feels like the kind of song I would want to blast in my room with the lights off and just vibe.

Heavily 80s synth pop inspired, but progressive in nature, Seeking Thrills is an honorable follow up to her previous efforts, but much like her past albums, I find it hard to fully engage with the songs beyond a surface level danceability.

In the moment it's fun and catchy, but the overall product, for me, has little replay value. It is still a very fun and carefree record, but across the boards it's almost too much of the same and it just isn't fulfilling enough for me.

Favorite Songs: Started Out, About Work the Dancefloor, Never Let You Go, Ray Guns, Honey Dripping Sky

Least Favorite Songs: Mellow, Ultimate Sailor
