So I listened to this album and here are my thoughts.
I think Onanon is better than this album for the sole purpose of execution, but I'm gonna give it credit here because its not just one guitar chord! It's a p diverse indie folk and folktronica record that sees Concrete Castles step outside the realm of electronic music he is known for.
The two features add quite a lot to the personality of this record. I think for the aesthetic choices, it could've been possible to improve on the mixing/mastering while still having that neutral lo-fi profile. Whether or not it was intentional, idk. Vocal-wise, I like Concrete's voice but idk if I like the execution of it.
Anyways, like Alkaline said... this sound still needs to be perfected. It'll take a bit before I think Concrete can really whip out an AMAZING release, even beyond Onanon.
