My least favourite Drake album... Why will anyone hear this given how many great house and dance pop albums which are out their... Drake went experimental and failed so badly
Some horrible tracks manage to entertain me sometimes by how weak and lame they are
Best Beach House album... Idk why this is the lowest rated, just because it's not as ambitious as their later projects instrumentally... But the melodies used, the minimalist dream pop instrumentals are fantastic... The level of melodies used here were never touched again in any beach house albums later... Sadly people not appreciating the raw beach house sound which has the most heartwarming compositions... One of my favourite dream pop album...
Freddie Gibbs never misses! Another fantastic project by Freddie, amazing beats as usual, and also more melodic flare to the rapping... Few songs in 1st half of the album felt kin of filler but rest of it is still pretty enjoyable...
15 just because the instrumental interlude actually had some fire beat on it... But for some reason they didn't even wanted to leave it in peace, the best section which I absolutely loved was constantly ruined by stabs of annoying effects every 7 seconds... God I loved that instrumental but why did they have to do this...
Apart from that... This is trash, this is really really mediocre, and ig became a hit because of movie or idk, people down to enjoy anything at this point ig... No actual ... read more
This is so dumb but at the same time so intoxicating and minimalist at the same time... Kinda fun to listen to...
I really really love this thing... there's no track here which came across as weak or something... everything keeps building up here and explodes like a supernova at last... i've kinda listened to in rainbows too many times and probably i wore off some of the novelty, but still the production and rich textures keep me intact... wonderful
wonderful and exquisite instrumentals and songwriting... ngl if i was listening to music in early-mid 2010s and came across her music, i would straight up never expected her to make a really good album (or maybe idk, i didn't have taste as evolved as i have rn)
this is much better than her previous works, really appreciate the progress made
I feel annoyed when any song from this is played in front of me wither on insta, or on any social media site... keep this away from me for sake of god... instrumentals are fine but when she speaks, it's a shut up... Fantano said a really good line in his review, that no matter how much you spray perfumes of freshness (lavish instrumentals), the stink (lyrics and everything wrong with this thing) will finally come out at last no matter what...
it has some really great pop songs, with a really great batch of synthpop flare to it... but few shortcomings still lies in the part of audio production where his vocals sound too artificial in some songs, and few of the beats can be hit or miss
Kinda captures to create the rock edge which it tries to build on mainstream level... But the songs, melodies, the riffs aren't quiet there...
Not as bad as I remembered... Few good songs here and there, a bit of effort seems to be put... Last song is really good...
One of the best album Synth pop has to offer... The sound is textured with the sound of the production in this period of time... Amazing melodramatic vocals throughout the album, without ever being overdramatic... Sets a high bar for any album in this genre...
instrumental palette is generic yet atleast had some ability to pop little bit... but then there's weird mixing and such weird singing by post and doja... lyrics total garbage
the song doesn't pop, it doesn't have any catchy element in it, melodies aren't that great plus the payoff sucks... instrumental is generic... it's not so good...
Not a big fan of the lyrics and every song here but has some really good poppers here and there... really catchy songs here and there...
