Revisiting Bjork: Pt. 2
Yep, I gotta revisit all of her albums. (80=>84)
This thing is great, the first half of it is actually amazing. The second definitely has some misses but is still very good.
Actually, the only miss this album has is the closer. I respect how experimental Headphones is, and I like the message of it, but I don't think that was the right way to end this album.
I don't know if I should or want to go song for song because both of them are just great. But I have to highlight two of the best songs on this album, Hyper-Ballad and It's Oh So Quiet. I don't think I could ever explain what is so good about Hyper-Ballad, but by the end of it, I'm always ascending into another dimension. It's Oh So Quiet is just one of the best covers I may have heard in my life.
Overall, this album may have been a little bit better, but it's probably the best I've heard from her so far. Though Homogenic may grow on me and surpass this one.
