Currents

Finally listened to this album in full, now that I’m consciously revisiting albums for my AOTY list.

This rating needs no explanation.

I actually discovered this album way later than most people, which is insane considering how genre-bending and it is—some of the best psychedelic pop the human race will ever create.

I'd confidently say the Currents era belongs in the top 20 music eras of all time.

Edit: I just have to include that the album cover has to be in the top 20 of the best, or most iconic album covers of all time. Probably the best example of a synesthetic album cover.
