I have a lot to say about this record, so be prepared. This will likely be the longest & most detailed review I've ever made. Let's get started:

The Mollusk by Ween was the first record I ever truly got into, it completely changed my life. Long before I ever wrote any reviews on AOTY, before I ever branched out any of my music taste, I was a very closed-minded person (when it came to music). I listened to the top pop hits, and that was really all. I had no interest in music itself or ... read more

The Bends by Radiohead. The response to their explosive track "Creep" which also marks the point the band started to experiment some and become more comfortable in their shoes. This album is extremely important, as, without it, it's likely Radiohead would have never moved into the direction they did, and what a sad world it would be without albums like OK Computer, Kid A, and In Rainbows. The Bends essentially laid the foundation for Radiohead- although Pablo Honey did come before, it ... read more

In Rainbows by Radiohead. The final album in the mega trio widely considered their best work, this record is quite different from its predecessors. A much more upbeat beginning leads into a more introspective and mellow middle ground, which leads into a very depressive backside. Now, although In Rainbows is probably the least important album of the trio (the trio, of course, being: Ok Computer, Kid A, and In Rainbows), it is actually my favorite. Sure, OK Computer changed rock as we know it... ... read more

Kid A by Radiohead. The 'sequel' to one of the most acclaimed records of all-time, Ok Computer.
Comparing OK Computer to Kid A is like comparing an old movie which finally got a sequel 30 years later but doesn't have any of the same actors or directors. Even though it may feel like a continuation of the same story/timeline, its a completely different experience. There have been plenty of theories as to the meaning of this record, including a very interesting theory of cloning- however, this ... read more

OK Computer by Radiohead. What hasn't already been said about this masterpiece?
One of the most famous and critically acclaimed albums to ever be conceived, OK Computer pushes the boundaries of music itself. I remember before I had gotten into music, looking for the highest-rated album of all-time. I came across OK Computer by Radiohead, a band who I had never heard of. When I investigated their Spotify, I discovered that I had only heard their most streamed song: Creep (Yes, I was one of THOSE ... read more

Ween - The Mollusk: One of my favorite records of all-time, one of the records which got me into music, the first psychedelic album I ever heard, and more. The Mollusk is one of the most important albums to me, and so naturally, I want to hear more from Ween.
My second pick is Quebec. Why'd I pick this one? Well, it is the only other album by Ween where I've actually heard some of the songs before. (Specifically "Chocolate Town" and "Tried and True.")

This album, along with ... read more

I usually don't like to spam my new albums or whatever, but I just dropped a collaborative EP with a producer KiNG that I'm really proud of. I would appreciate if you reviewed it. :)

Don't sell yourself short, you put out quality stuff too! I wish I could put as much effort as you do into every single one of my reviews, but frankly I don't have the time or musical knowledge to. Oh well, I'll keep doing my thing

Hey Tristan! I know it's been about a month since my first MGMT review (which you enjoyed) and I just wanted to let you know that my second one is out!

I've been super busy with school starting up that I just haven't had the time to sit down and write a long-winded review which I love to do, but tonight I made it my goal to write my heart out, so here we are!

Give it a read and tell me what you think!
