The Dark Side of the Moon.
Easily one of the most famous album's of all-time, both for it's iconic cover art and the amazing music itself.
There really isn't much I can say about this record which has not been said before, but I will try my best to share some of my thoughts:

It's very difficult to even conceive and fully understand the fact that this record was made in 1973. The production of this record sounds so incredibly clear, and so revolutionary, it is remarkable. Every instrument ... read more

Wow. I have so much to say about this record...
First of all, let me just say that this is absolutely phenomenal. The amazing production and song writing by the band shines here greatly, and up until this point it was easily their best release. Each song tells it's own individual story while still creating an incredibly cohesive and understandable experience. I was instantly hooked by the opener and stuck around for the full experience without ever hesitating, as the experimentation was enough ... read more

I was extremely surprised by this amazing record. Based on all the user and critic scores, I wasn't expecting to hear something nearly this good until I got to their album "Meddle" but it came early for me. I love the sound and the feeling of this album so much, especially during the first song, that I found it difficult to get the smile off of my face. I became so immersed in this record that I almost fell out of my chair when someone walked into my room.

So, let's start with the ... read more

"Ummagumma" is, just like it's name, weird.

The first half of the record contains 4 live performances, 3 of which were songs that were already released. However, these are new versions of them, and I must say that these new versions are much better than the original studio versions. The live performances are much longer and contain way more psychedelic bliss, along with a more experimental style. I would easily give this first section of the album around an 85 to 90. However, the ... read more

"A Saucerful of Secrets" is a drastic change from what Pink Floyd's debut album "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn" contained. This record is much more psychedelic, allowing for a more immersive listening experience. The album features some overall really great instrumentals, with matching vocals, to create pretty nice soundscapes. Unfortunately this space-like style leads to it's slight downfall.

Personally, I am a huge fan of psychedelic music. I loved every single track up ... read more

Hey! I have been releasing singles for a little while now and I feel like I have improved a ton, especially on my most recent single called 100% Wet. I took a lot of your advice from my first single and I know much more music theory. Also, the panning won't be an issue on any of my new tracks haha. I also use a legitimate music production software and actual samples now and I have a computer to do it on, so hopefully that shows!.
Anyways, I'd love it if you could check it out and drop some criticisms!. Thanks!

โ˜Ÿ Here is some information about how I rate music โ˜Ÿ
-I usually rate in increments of ๐Ÿฑ, but there are ๐˜ฆ๐˜น๐˜ค๐˜ฆ๐˜ฑ๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜ด.
-Ratings are mostly based off of how much I enjoy listening to the record, but more objective views (like lyrics and production) is also taken into account.
-I try to limit my reviewing of singles, and focus more on EPs and LPs.
