I think this is an amazing project for ginger root. The fact that this is an album that you have to watch the music videos to understand the full story (which are awesome btw) just adds the fun this project brings. Definitely meeting the standards that city slicker set for him with this project. My only complaint about this album is that I feel as if he overdid the rollout the point where it was more like w only got 4 full new songs upon the albums full release. But that has nothing to do with ... read more
Billy Joel is definitely in my opinion one of the greatest song writers of all time. If he wasn’t as musically inclined as he is he could’ve easily been a writer. But if you take that and add his insane talent on the piano and the other backing instruments you just get a masterpiece

There’s a lot more synth/indie pop and psych music popping up in recent years, not that it’s bad, I love psych, but I feel like it has led to me feeling a slight sense of “there’s multiple albums I’ve heard that ... read more
First of all, greatest studying album of all time. But honestly, I love this album, it’s such an amazing fusion of smooth baritone jazz sounds and plinky sine synths. And as its name suggests, you can play it on loop and it all melts into one, endlessly good.
