his best project feels well-produced yet still all over the place with no clear direction or end goal.
best track: Pick it up

THANK YOU FOR 100 FOLLOWERS!
I figured since I reached this milestone I should review a (for lack of a better word) milestone in the hip-hop scene. Dooms’ flow over madlibs complex beats make for an awesome listen. i really like how it’s experimental but not loud, because today experimental hip-hop is all about blowing your head off with bass. which i love don’t get me wrong— but sometimes i just want an album that feels like a chill sesh with two hip-hop legends, which ... read more
i’m sorry her voice is mad annoying and the songs aren’t structured well at all. second track was the only redeeming moment
best track: free sex
worst track: plasmatic yearning (For the Horizon’s kiss goodnight)
jon mud’s approach to songs about ravioli is to reinvent the first song four more times, however instead of changing the lyrics, he changes the future funk style of the first track into screamo, rock, dnb, and electronic moments. some work better than others and this approach to making any EP is frankly absurd, however for a topic such as ravioli, this ABSOLUTEly works.
best track: ravioli feel the heat
worst track: ravioli ravioli or sauce it up
solid rerelease, i don’t understand the point of it, but relistening to this album was still fun.
best track: air force (black demarco)
some of this is really, REALLY bad, and i’m not even confident enough to say it had its moments.
best track: 60 Flat or BURN IT DOWN (WASH US IN THE BLOOD)
worst track: we are becoming desensitized to violence
fuck it, i’m gonna say it: christ and kai make a better duo than christ and acid. i know that’s considered a blasphemous statement in the cloud/comedy rap scene, but kai honestly carries every song he touches and compliments christ SO well. acid and christ do have a chemistry that’s hard to ignore, but as far as how sonically pleasing the tracks here are, it’s difficult for me to pretend i prefer the original duo over what was displayed here.

it wasn’t the worst hour of my life because one time i was in the hospital vomitting with two IV’s in me for a bunch of hours so it’s right after that i think. so this album is in between my hospital visit when i almost died and probably when i got a concussion?? in between those i think, idk my ears hurt??? and mcdonald he’s not my favorite yknow so i think it’s reasonable to wedge him between two not so great or fun or nice experiences or wthaever. i got the ... read more
