Prince - Controversy

Controversy feels like the spiritual sequel to Prince's previous album Dirty Mind. On Dirty Mind Prince wrote songs about quite taboo topics which of course lead to a lot of press about the album. Controversy acts as an unapologetic response to this as Prince addresses the rumours and media attention he had received but then proceeds to double down and continues to sing about whatever the fuck he wants, and it of course, comes out sounding great.
