a very average album. no surprises no excitement just a collection of decent songs. nothing to write home about.

expected something more interesting from an artist like bruno mars.

idk what i expected from blackpink but it was probably something better than this

madison beer's albums are never bad but they're never amazing either. her albums usually feel like reflections of current pop trends and this new project is no different: she needs to find her own vibe bc so far her music doesn't stand out amongst other popular artists' projects.

When I saw the promo pics I thought this would probably be better that TTPD but not really. The instrumentals are better but the lyrics have definitely gotten worse. Even my favourite song on the album "Ruin The Friendship" suffers from poor lyricism. It just keeps getting worse.

Take me back to folklore era I beg.

I had higher expectations for this album.
Some songs are really catchy and unique but the rest, while not being bad/unlistenable, sounds very safe and even boring at times.
