hello guys!! this is not a review but stick with me, i'm considering making some big revisions to the way i use this account and would like your input if possible! basically, i'm just considering making this account more informal. if you have time to read through and give your thoughts (i added a tl;dr as well) that would be great, tysm!
currently, this account only posts formal reviews, and i keep the screwing around to the nurture comment section. i'm considering changing this account so i review stuff more informally (shorter reviews for albums i've wanted to get around to listening, for example, if i don't feel the compulsion to write a longer review, or jokes), listen to more stuff, and sorta just mess around. the main reason why i'm considering this is because i only feel like i should be posting formal and professional reviews, which take some time to write. i haven't had time to write long reviews recently, as could probably be seen by my unusually low output recently, and therefore this account feels more 'dead' in terms of reviews than i'd like it to be. for example, roadrunner is an album i wanted to review but couldn't because of school-related work. under this 'model' (if you could call it that), i would've likely left a short, few-sentence review about the album, or a joke (although probably not for roadrunner). i feel like it would corrupt the professionality of this account's posts, but i also feel like i'd have more fun and would be able to get around to more albums without the fear of having to spend time on the next review i have to write.
tl;dr: option 1 is i screw around more on this account and listen to more stuff, option 2 is i keep this account as is and stick to professional reviews for posts here. if you could leave your thoughts in the comments that would be awesome! <3
oh yeah, also i'm working on a website to post reviews on as well as here (sorry eva). we'll see if it ever sees the light of day, but if it does, i'll be sure to let y'all know!

My account is super free form and I (spoiler) plan to make it slightly more formal soon; this sounds great

I’ve struggled with this kind of thing too, and I think the main thing I’ve thought of is that if it’s a single, I’ll usually just rate it then put a funny haha lol in the comments. With albums, I’d say just a mid-sized review giving your thoughts would work nicely as long as it isn’t everything.

Do whatever you want man! Your OK Orchestra review was pretty informal, and it was great, so I would love to see some informal reviews.

if the website works out you could always write your serious reviews there and have more fun on this account! you have such a talent for writing honestly, but it can be stressful to always write serious stuff

@CyberCrasher_TV smtcubes had to leave the site due to his parents kicking him off of social media. many of us were very close with him and its been a rough time
