Weezer - SZNZ: Spring

Okay I can get why some people like this because it’s one of those feel good sort of releases, but MAN I just personally can’t get over how cheesy and fake and generic this sounds. Their most recent release was Van Weezer which was an album I genuinely kind of despised lol. So I wasn’t expecting much here, and yea that was right on the money with how I feel now. Idkkk what do I even say? It’s just boring to me. It’s like if Beverly Hills was an entire album. Angels On Vacation is sort of catchy. That’s about all I can give this release besides the fact that the cover art looks cool. Rivers still sounds too squeaky clean to me. The guitars are boring. The production feels generic. Yeah I just… whatever lmao
