Asian Glow - Stalled Flutes, means

WHERE ARE THE FLUTES I WAS PROMISED FLUTES WTF

I am SOOOOOOOOOO glad I didn’t miss out on this one. This is one of my favorite albums of the year. It blew the top off my head. The entire thing is ear candy. I already had pretty high hopes with Asian Glow, considering that the EP with Weatherday was fantastic. I honestly like this more though which I DID NOT expect. With an hour runtime, not once am I taken out of the experience or uninterested. A lot of it feels like it’s within the same environment, but I find that to be a great thing considering that most of these songs fucking slap, and are catchy enough to make me want to listen to them more. I genuinely don’t think there’s a bad song here but Faltering Water, When Summer, and especially Look Close, Nose Reflection and End By Forever are my favs. Look Close literally had my jaw dropped. Every single detail and melody just makes my brain go brrrrrr. It’s a long one too, and it is the climax of emotiom. The guitars also just make my ears melt it’s so great. Can’t express enough love for that one. End By Forever is such a satisfying closer, with it having probably the best explosion of the album. I could keep going but I’m too lazy. I am just so floored by how much I loved this thing. I have to listen to every single thing this person has put out now lol.
