Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works 85–92
92

88->92

One of the most atmospheric/viby (or how you want to describe it) albums I've listened to. I can almost feel it describing a world to me.

Swans - To Be Kind
100

To Be Kind is awesome. It stretches every concept to its limit and only lets go of it when it can't stretch anymore, when every possible corner of the concept has been explored. It builds and builds and builds further than you expect. It never lets up. Songs like Screen Shot Where you think it has hit its climax but it keeps going and it keeps building until it has reached its absolute limit is just fascinating to experience.

This album loves to live, like in Screen Shot where it tells ... read more

Squid - Bright Green Field
85

I really like the post-rock/rock stuff coming out of the uk right now with bands like Black Midi and BCNR. Squid is one of these bands. The sound of this album is amazing and Narrator is one of my favourite songs of all time.

I do think the middle part of the album is a bit of a slump but it makes up for it with the last three songs.

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - Phantom Island
72

I've never been a fan of classic rock so Flight b741 and this album haven't really stuck with me. but i do think this is a step up from Flight b741. The use of the orchestra in this album creates more depth than Flight b741 in songs like Lonely Cosmos and the song Phantom Island is one of the best songs they've made. But I'm still not the biggest of a fan of the overall sound of the album. Definitely fun but except for a few tracks not something special

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - Eyes Like The Sky
50

Its fun for what it is but its not something more than that.
I do hope they do more like this like with Murder Of The Universe.

Black Country, New Road - Ants From Up There
100

88->100
It took 4 listens to get it but fuck this album is probably the best album of the decade and one of the best of all time.
The only criticism i can give is that the vocals could have been a bit more forward, because of how chaotic the album can be it can be drowned out a bit.

Daft Punk - Discovery
98

I used to listen to daft punk like 8 years ago and only to One More Time and Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger and yet every track feels nostalgic. I have no clue what more to say exept that if aliens ever come to Earth and they wanted to experience our music this album would probably be my number 1 pick

Also i dont know what took me so long to listen to this album, when i switched to spotify like 3 years ago Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger was the only song to survive my liked purge

Panchiko - D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L
88

Its like radiohead in your dreams

Weezer - Weezer (White Album)
78

2 good weezer albums in a row hasn't happend since 1996, this is a special occasion. lets not talk about their next couple of albums

Curta'n Wall - YR GWYDDBWYLL
72

65>72

This is a really fun album. It feels like im am hunting a dragon. It fells like im in the town square with a medival metal band playing. They nailed the feel of the album but the sound does get a bit stale in the middle. I think it would've been better if it was a bit shorter cus now it is a bit bloated.
This isn't their magnum opus but i think it will come soon

Weezer - Weezer (Green Album)
68

This clearly isn't their best work. Doesn't do anything good or bad. But it still is fun.

It's afraid to do anything different, new, or experimental. Anything pinkerton, and knowing the story behind the album, I get why rivers did this.

Modest Mouse - We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank
90

this album doesn't have a boring moment in it. It is non-stop excellence but it also lets itself rest a bit and take it slow.

稲葉曇 [inabakumori] - アンチサイクロン [ANTICYCLONE]
75

not a bad song on the album, but it does gets kinda repetitive at the end. They are never bad but they don't really stand out from eachother (exept for the last two songs)

Penelope Scott - Public Void
55

When somebody says an opinion I agree with but they express it in such a way that i low-key disagree with them
