This didn't peak my interest too much. It just felt very tame to me. Some cool lyrics, but the auto-tune and vocals felt silly for a good majority of this.

I might just have to accept that this style of music isn't for me.

Not Great. Brent's vocals are nice, but the production feels extremely bland and a lot like his past two albums. The skits feel unnecessary, and the features are extremely underwhelming, apart from Coco Jones. I'd really like to see Brent branch out a bit because this sound he is going for is getting extremely repetitive.

‘1989’ has never been one of my absolute favorites from Taylor. Now, I do think it's a good pop album that has had a huge influence on popular music over the past decade, and I can understand a lot of the acclaim it has gathered over the years.
