I love this album. That’s all I have to say.

Folklores older and depressed sister. Not quite as cohesive as its sister album but still showcases incredible storytelling and songwriting.

After listening to emo music for the whole late 2000s and going through a horrible heartbreak Taylor swift created speak now. It’s vulnerable and immature and that’s what makes it so great. It sounds like being 19.

Lover is an anxious and lonely album parading around as a romance album. The contradicting lyrics and aesthetic makes it hard to relate to a diminishes the impact she was trying to create. While some tracks showcase the future lyricism she would train further on folklore, some songs sound like they were rushed. It’s a mixed bag of romantic and emotional songs with a very 2019 indie airy feel.
