This album is insanity on every single level.

Regardless of how you feel about IDLES outside of music (i.e. their politics, social commentary etc), you can’t deny that this album is unbelievable from a punk perspective.

Just 2 years ago, the band released the best punk album of the decade (& my joint #1 AOTY 2018): JOY as An Act of Resistance which in my opinion completely redefined what Punk music is in the modern day & age. They also set the bar so ridiculously, unbelievably ... read more

A 17 year old Juice WRLD clone sings and raps about his struggles with “real love”, over generic beats & boring surface level lyrics: The Album.

Or is it a mixtape? Whatever it is... it’s not that great. The vocals are whiny to the point where they are insufferable. If this came out in 2010 - everyone would be clowning this guy the same way 17 year old Bieber was clowned on back in the day. Only difference was, Bieber could actually sing half decent. Without autotune ... read more

“The Common Task” is the chaotic rush of an everyday person. It creates a trance in the listener through a repetitive whirlwind of notes that sound like they had been created during the Medieval era.

It’s a burst of primal energy. Experimental enough to remain intriguing through it’s 40 min duration, and hypnotic enough to make it feel like half of that. Some parts come across as over indulgent, grating & static. But beneath the surface, you will start to uncover ... read more

Well this “LULU” is definitely better than that Metallica & Lou Reed one.

Inspired by the 2002 movie “Paid in Full”, the gangsta themes & samples serves as an ideal backdrop for Conway the Machine & The Alchemist to do what they do best - themselves.

“LULU” is both these artists showcasing their lanes by quite literally mixing the usual Conway verse with the usual Alchemist beat. Although musically, I enjoyed the grimy boom-bap & killa ... read more

On “Apple”, A.G. Cook sounds like a blend between Ecco2k & Bladee, but with less impressive production behind them.

The ‘quirky’ sound aesthetic on “Apple” is quite the mixed bag. The tracks I found to be most innovative, bold, futuristic and exciting were the 2 experimental instrumentals “Xxoplex” & “Stargon”, yet they feel so disjointed & out of place on this album.

The record is a blend between hyper-pop and acoustic ... read more

I usually don't like to spam my new albums or whatever, but I just dropped a collaborative EP with a producer KiNG that I'm really proud of. I would appreciate if you reviewed it. :)

What modern band/artist can you confidently say will leave a mark in the landscape of music as we know it? In 10-20 years time, we will reminisce over their addition to music and consider them a "LEGEND", as we do for Bowie, Jimi, Beatles, N.W.A., etc.

Yo, you may not know who I am but I just put out my first project of 3 I'm releasing this year. I tried 8 different styles and really tried to keep the whole thing engaging throughout, it has mainly elements of hiphop and you'll see me try my best to follow in the steps of new artists like Slowthai and Joey Bada$$. I got it properly mixed and mastered and I hope I can win you over with at least one track. Give it a try and review it, I would love and appreciate some feedback. All love <3

Hi there! I accidentally deleted my Fetch the Bolt Cutters review (instead of 'editing' it) and I'm quite pleased with it, would you mind giving it another look? I don't expect a like, just a read my friend!
