The sound of a band with the talent, creativity, and freedom to do whatever the fuck they want.

I approve of this albums all-round scuzziness. Absolute rager.

Poison idea are the ultimate, scuzzy, nihilistic, don't-give-a-fuck, scene hating band ever, and I love them.

I remember reading a review in a rock magazine as a teenage Metalhead in the mid 80s, where they described the band in question (don't recall who it was) as a cross between Van Halen and Bad Brains.
I had never heard of Bad Brains, so the next time I was record shopping I came across a copy of Rock for Light.
The plain yellow cover seemed unassuming,and when I flipped it over and saw 4 black guys in rastacaps, I was like... OK.
