I really liked LIMELIGHT’s past releases, but this one felt too empty and rushed. Could’ve been quickly constructed to build off Mashiro and Yeseo’s Kep1er fanbase, but I would have rather waited and gotten more satisfying music.

yes, lucky is a pretty one-note album, being full of loona/gwsn reminiscent bubblegum pop (except la la la). however, as a person who loves loona and gwsn’s discographies, i can not complain!!! all things considered, this is probably my favorite weki meki project 🩷

sadly, i have never clicked with many japanese projects from k-pop groups. i don’t know why, since i have been studying japanese for the past 3 years and enjoy a good amount of japanese music (babymetal, vocaloid, tuyu, lamp), but most japanese releases from korean groups go in one ear and out the other for me.

SUCH an improvement from their debut! instead of relying on shock factor, young posse taps into both old school and new school hip-hop, and does it amazingly!
