It's below average "r&b". His vocals are weak, I feel nothing listening to a majority of these songs, its souless soul. That being said it would be interesting to see where he could potentially take this sound if he improves. Songs like "Against the Grain" prove my point. The background vocals sung by actual singers overshadow his weak ass main vocal lmao.
Its okay. None of the songs besides stay here for life stand out to me as ones I'd relisten to, and that's especially harsh because that's originally Brent's song. Hopefully he doesn't take another long break from music and he can follow up with a project that's more focused.
I like a lot of the songs on here, Trippie lowkey gets carried by the beats but overall fun & enjoyable, think it’s just cool to hate Trippie nowadays
Very smooth, great production throughout. He spends a lot of time rapping with his regular voice on this album for good effect, several tracks on here feel personal and brutally honest, more so than usual.
Chill but melancholic vibe, definitely recommend
Beat is fire thought durk was going to come in with some heat. I was wrong, this is some half assed garbage
I liked a couple songs in the beginning, especially bleed, as it goes on it just starts feeling like one long ass song to me, I like kid laroi’s vocals a lot on some of the songs on this project it’s just a lil too long and very boring.
Idk what’s going on with bro but I know he’s talented enough to make better shit than this, he just cuts a beat on & starts yapping over it. This whole mixtape some bullshit. Hope one day he locks in and actually tries again his older shit had some conviction & hunger with it that made it great.
Feel like trap music becoming stagnant, this is just ok, nothin nobody aint heard before
