Loved the vibe of the album. Hard to express, but it is closest to silent hills ost songs. And I love it. But songs don't really elevate themselves to anything special. Just very solid tracks.
BUT my favorite track "teeth" Is exactly what I wanted to see. It feels big, actually memorable sound, builds up suspense, and feels overall, very rewarding to listen to. The additional 7 to 70, is due to this song, purely

Jane Remover - Frailty

Overally fun album with a lot of dreamy and magic sounds. I mostly hated some of the "drop down" Moments. They just sometimes made me feel physical pain in my head, literally ears bleed. I also am not a fan of vocals, they feel underwhelming at times, but I appreciate them, since it is a clear direction artist wanted to take. Instrumental parts (coherent parts) were amazing, and I think they carried album for me.

Pallbearer - Mind Burns Alive

I don't have much to say. I gave this album three seperate tries, and it never really stick with me. I might give it fourth try, if I will soon have free time to visit park and actually listen to it, with full focus. For now I see it as a solid album.

still to me, one of the most, in its own strange way, beautiful albums.

Album has that constant wasting feeling to it, feeling of being trapped. Like you are no longer living, just killing time.
The album is all bleak, dark, constant, it faces death, in a poetic way. And while that album makes you just feel burnt our entire way through, I can still see it be used as a glimer of hope. Facing that complete darkness, does make you have to overcome it.

The album produces some of the most raw ... read more

Anyway, it was fire, for sure a very hype music. While I don’t really see why this is labeled with “trap metal” and not just trap, but I still did enjoy it.
But I did feel a major lack of more entertaining riffs or rather beats, and they were carried more by energetic vocals. I am not into trap all that much, I ... read more

Crumb - AMAMA

Enjoyed it a lot, it is a melancholy mix of psychedelic music, with indie pop sounds (or maybe dream pop could describe it better).
With captivating vocals, groovy rhytms, and psychedelic melodies, band has created original sound, that is lovely to listen to. I only wish, altought still beautiful, vocals would leave the comfort zone, just as music does. But I believe albums still works very, very well

Lip Critic - Hex Dealer

It is pure chaos, it is frantic, I felt I was going insane. Yeah this is similar to machine girl, but it is still solid.
I don’t have much to say, song structure is intresting, electric beats are amazing, groovy, vocals remind me a bit of rage against the machine.
While it had few moments, that made me feel, like there is too much going on, for no bigger reason, than for just crazy shit sake it is, Nevertheless still a solid album. I believe you can make bat shit insane sound, while ... read more

I will be honest. I barely registered anything, I needed album to fall asleep on, and this album helped a lot.

But from what I heard, this is simple music, it is just girl, and her guitar, nothing and the sounds that we get from that simple combo, is simply beautiful. Songs were interesting, so much in fact, I had to play album a bit more quiet, cause I felt my brain was attracted to the songs. Simply put, the album is more than a white noise.

高木正勝 [Masakatsu Takagi] - かがやき [Kagayaki]

No idea how to explain it, but It was just... there? It just hit me, albums has that nostalgia feeling. I felt like I was a kid again, and was trying to catch some spider or sth to play with it and give it bugs or whatever childhood activities I had. It's beaituful, and I might just cry to it someday.
Album also has that story vibe to it, I believe it is supposed to tell some story, and whatever it is, it touched me.

No idea how to put, I just really enjoyed it, maybe it was the heat of the ... read more

Beth Gibbons - Lives Outgrown

I've listened to it during work, so I might not fully grasp it, but sounds I have heard were capturing, intresting, and what I love the most, often haunting, accompanied with beautiful vocals, and amazing song structure. I will probably come back to these review.

Cage the Elephant - Neon Pill

While it has quite a few cool hooks, interesting music ideas (like good time time change, or float to the sky psychodelic outro), overall I found it uninteresting.
Songs although short, around 3 minutes, felt repetitive for me. Not bad, just sometimes it was tiring. Albums has it’s own amazing moments, but also quite a few moments that left me unamazed
The sound overall has an interesting direction. It is definitely modern, but song writing, and production feels like 70’ 80’

Disclaimer, no I do not know it from Tik tok. I learned that artist has Tik tok appearances by looking at info on Google about their band.

Nevertheless the song played itself randomly on Spotify for me. It is kinda like boa, but with some other influences, which are similar to music I listened before it, meaning Japanese music from games.
Overall it is a good album I’d say, beautiful, calming, while not falling for generic sounds. I was extremely tired during listening to that album, so ... read more

Minimalist, straight forward, and I’d it gets the job… kind of. Little to no production, creates that raw sounding album, with killer riffs, sometimes annoying vocals. Sometimes the songs are simply weird, which I normally don’t mind, but here sometimes I just wished for some songs to end sooner, which is not the best thing considering they are already short.

The overal vibe I get from the band, is “If dad rock became more angry”

Overall a solid album, held ... read more

A pleasant experience.

Beats can go from soothing, to haunting, and they have a lot of intresting ideas in it. I could listen to instrumentals here on them own. A lot of intresting sound design choices, and it all blends together just spectaculary. Add vocals to these intrumentals, and we get some of the best flowing albums this year. Songs are short, but they always feel fulfilled. Features must be also big part of this amazing album, so here I am appreciating them.

REX(雷克斯) - 屋簷血雨

I don’t understand a thing he said, but i didn't need to. Song or rather 3 songs mashed into one amazing experience that went by fast, even though the song is 9 minutes long.

First part is more of a trap music, and I really love it, I guess you could consider it basic, but I like how it feels uplifting, and overally it is a very solid experience. Vocals work well, the flow is amazing. I love the bridge to the final chorus.

Second part is amazing, with heavy, rhytm based guitars, and ... read more

I will admit, I am not a big fan of rap. I do enjoy it, but I don’t listen to a lot of it, So I find myself struggling to rate some of these.

So now to conclusion, I just found it hard to go through, beats sometimes are just annoying even tho songs have around 2 minutes, vocals have little to no flow, and the vocal direction I find to be… questionable.
I overally found it to be poor experience.

공중도둑 [Mid-Air Thief] - 무너지기 [Crumbling]

A new, glitchy, interdimensional jounrney. A very new sound to my ears.
Although a very interesting and beautiful sounds, I don’t think the album clicked fully with me.

Liquify - lost in time
71

It is different, and I love it for what it is.
I do consider it a bit boring, but the atmosphere the albums creates is very beautiful and hauntingly.
It is a mix of doom, psychodelic, and I would even stretch it for sludge metal.
Album cover shows the vibe perfectly

Judas Priest - Painkiller

This album is banger, down to bottom, riffs are killers, even more killer vocals, and even more more killer leads. It's catchy, riffs make me want to run in the park, I probably know every lyric. I don't have much to add, I just love this album so much, it is easily for me in top metal albums of all time.
