Not a ton that I really have to say about this album. I have only been listening for a couple days, but this album already feels so comfortable to me. It’s super ethereal and super easy to get lost in, which is very appealing to me. It’s beautiful and it evokes quite a bit of feeling out of me. I don’t know if it’s perfect, but it’s close enough for me.
Favorite: Heaven or Las Vegas
No least favorite, cannot decide
Yeah, this is awesome. Potentially my favorite jazz album ever, though it has some strong contenders. I don’t even have that much to say, it’s just super groovy and cool, and as long as these songs are sometimes, I’m never bored. Please listen to this if you like jazz.
Favorite: I don’t know probably Chameleon
Least Favorite: Vein Melter (if forced to choose)
This was alright. My biggest problem with this album is that I don’t think it’s for me fully. I’ve never been a fan of shock for the sake of shock, it just feels uninteresting. Bad Meets Evil is just very fun, and well put together. My Fault overall is just alright, but the chorus is weirdly catchy. Still ... read more
Ants From Up There is a great album. I don’t think I necessarily dislike any of these songs. I do, however, have my contained issues within the songs. Chaos Space Marine is a very good song, but I find it to be less interesting than most of the rest of this album. I enjoyed Bread Song, but I felt they could’ve done a bit more with the song. I like what they were going for with the drums on Snow Globes, but I felt that they were too intense, they overpowered the rest of the song too ... read more
93--->85: Still very good, but some songs I've soured on a small bit, and just aren't as memorable. The songs I already loved, though, I still do.
Overall, this is a very nice album that I enjoy quite a bit. The sounds this album brings are very nice, and I feel myself falling into several songs here very easily, which is nice. Anderson’s voice is great, and helps elevate this experience a lot. The features here are also great. Andre 3000’s and Nate Dogg’s are the ... read more
