Did enjoy, but took awhile to get into it. First half weaker than second half by quite a margin
(edit: 75 ---> 78)
Actually quite promising despite the relatively low score
Love the build-up and garage sounds. The song isn't the most focused imo but doesn't detract too much
Very good, 2nd half quite inconsistent with lots of things I like and dislike
Pure folk bliss. One of my favourite all time folk albums
Quite a varied folk rock album. A better album in Tim's catalogue with many devastating songs. It is possibly his most accessible record with standouts being Pleasant Street, I Never Asked To Be Your Mountain, Once I Was, and Phantasmagoria in Two
Absolutely insane album which will bend your mind by the sounds yet also get you grooving while Tim croons, babbles and yodels. Absolutely manic
It's my personal favourite from Tim. This is because he combines the small-scale chamber folk with chamber jazz (vibraphones and acoustic bass) and progressive song structures. This is evident from the first track, which was inspired by Miles Davis' Kinda Blue.
