My Top 150 Favorite Musical Releases Ever

Hey all! I have decided to compile a list of my 150 absolute most favorite releases ever! Maybe your favorite release is on here????

THESE ARE MY OPINIONS! Anybody who comments something along the lines of "WHY WAS / WASN'T X INCLUDED" or "WHY IS X SO LOW / HIGH" or "THIS LIST MAKES NO SENSE" will be sent to the penis and/or ovary explosion room. All of these projects are fantastic! If you disagree with anything on this list, either be polite about it or just simply make your own list! No negativity! Life is too short for that kind of bullshit!

The Brave Little Abacus - Just Got Back From the Discomfort—We're Alright
1.
100
The best album of all time, made by the best emo band of all time, which might just be the greatest band of all time. Yeah, they are THAT good.

Simply put, these guys were an extremely special group of human beings whose talents helped me discover who I really am. I owe Adam so much because of the band's amazing music helping me through my tough times, dysphoria, mental health issues, low self-esteem. The feelings of isolation, post-breakup sadness, confusion, depression, and self-hatred on this album, it's all so violently human. Pair that with the incredible fucking instrumentation and you get a recipe for the most honest album I can think of.

This album saved my life.
The KLF - Chill Out
2.
100
Best use of an Elvis sample ever.
William Basinski - The Disintegration Loops
3.
100
(I'm going to use this release to refer to the full series.)
The starkest ambient project in the history of the genre. Whether you believe Basinski's story or not, it's still a haunting description of one of the darkest days in history, and of our own disintegration. However, it leaves us with a reminder to live every day like its your last. Make the most of it, whatever your situation may be. <333
Lil Ugly Mane - Uneven Compromise
