What a complete total bore. If you are into listening to the same exact terrible riff being played over and over again than this is for you, but if you have any taste skip over on this one.
YAWN!!! Boring half written songs, terrible vocals, uninspired musicianship and complete unoriginality.
Don't really get what all this hype is about because it's certainly a below average album but I guess he's one of the most well known names in modern music so they gotta hype something. Rating this album on the songs alone i would give it a passable grade but when you throw in the production values that's when it starts to sink.
This is like background music at a cracker barrel it's just really really lame.

This is what happens when rich kids have too much free time on there hands and decide to make music. This might be the most horrible collection of songs ever put out.
This is honestly like a SNL parody of a female singer songwriter. I'll spare you the details because this album is so boring but I'll give you a spoiler it is beyond cliche with every lame aspect of modern Indy folk jammed into a blender and served in the most possible safe and mainstream friendly way. This is a really good and interesting album I can see how some people don't get it on the first listen but trust me give it a few more spins and you won't be disappointed
Fine if you guys are gonna cry about it this much I'll give it what it deserves a 40. Just stop justifying mediocre music and I would not be forced to do this lol.
Every few years a band comes along that is so completely overrated that you have to wonder if you are listening to the same record as those who are praising it., currently speaking bonny doon is that band.
This very well might be yawn this most boring yawn record I have ever heard zzzzzzzz.
Pretty much sounds like what you would expect from a folky singer songwriter in 2019 in other words this is completely generic cookie cutter indie folk.
