Kanye West - ye
80
ye (self-titled)

While "ye" is not one of Kanye's best sounding albums, it is one of his most personal ones by a long shot. The opener "I Thought About Killing You" all the way down to the emotional closer of "Violent Crimes" is one giant roller-coaster of emotions, while looking into the mind of Kanye and exploring his bipolar disorder. And while, yeah, the production is not the greatest on a Kanye project, the emotional potency on here carries the project miles higher than it would on its own. Only real issues I have for this album are just little nitpicks, like how the track list should be longer, and that "All Mine" is a bit of a low-point on here, but still this was incredible, and honestly, the short track list helps speak volumes. Also, the last 2 minutes on "Ghost Town" are life-changing, holy shit.

Best Tracks: I Thought About Killing You, Yikes, Wouldn't Leave, No Mistakes, Ghost Town, Violent Crimes
Worst Track: All Mine
