RiskR - …but I’m here for now

I really liked Riskr's last album, and I was pretty excited to see what this new album would hold, considering the singles showing her switching her style up so boldly. So, with this album, its less going for an ambient sleepy ocean feel, and more of a transcendental almost distorted type of energy to it. And MAN, this shit works phenomenally well! Production is super fuzzy and spaced out, kinda shoegazey in some weird pockets here and there, and Riskr's vocals, while pretty buried in the mix, kinda work in a lo-fi way where you can still make them out if you really pay attention. And they really do sound great, at least for the style she's going for, anyway. But yeah, this was legit amazing, and is honestly a runner for one of the best user albums of the year!
