Elcamino - Here You Go
55

FINE. While not a virtuosic rapper by any means, Elcamino finds a great niche for himself among these relaxing, well-sampled, and warm beats. Here You Go is an excellent listening experience except the last track, which was poor sonically and lyrically.

At The Plates - Omnivore
40

POOR. While At The Plate's Omnivore has a cute concept, the execution leaves much to be desired. The lack of intra-genre diversity is appalling given the title, and the lyrical style is comedic but one-note. Here's to finding the MM...FOOD of Metal one day.

Loukeman - Sd-2
50

FINE. A short and uninteresting but not unpleasant Downtempo House record. Nothing new under the sun, but you won't want to skip most of the tracks.

CHRIST DILLINGER - BASED NEGATIVE SQUAD
NR

LMAO. It's about as dogshit as trap music can possibly get, completely intentional of course. If you have the same kind of brain rot I do, you're gonna love this record. "I can't put the fist up, because I can't put the pipe down." I was gonna criticize the insane length of the record, but then if it was shorter, it'd be a better record, wouldn't it?

Godo Yorke - Perkūnija
60

GOOD. Godo Yorke's Perkunija is an ethereal Lithuanian language Art-Pop record. It is ofttimes pretty, ofttimes powerful, but not in a particularly surprising or impressive way. The record is very get what you see on the tin, but Yorke's gorgeous singing voice and sensible production choices make it a strong effort regardless.

Cheekface - It's Sorted
65

GOOD. Cheekface is a fun Indie Rock outfit reminiscent of Cake with a very modern sense of humor and the wit to pull it off, and It's Sorted is more proof of this. While not a big move in any new direction sonically or lyrically, the record is another strong performance nonetheless.

Crawling Vines - Who Killed William Goose?
60

GOOD. Not too much to say about the record other than it's a well-executed Indie / Shoegaze record with some interesting ideas being explored. Who Killed William Goose is a solid debut record for the Crawling Vines.

mol$ - Death Makes You Complete
35

BAD. Some seriously derivative shit right hyearr. mol$'s Death Makes You Complete sounds positively incomplete, closer to a collection of Drain Gang b-sides than a full cohesive record. Not worth a listen even for fans of the genre.

The American Analog Set - What Are We Going To Tell Guy?
70

VERY GOOD. Captures that long-lost Post-Rock magic. I'm really not sure how it does though, as it is objectively a pretty standard record in the genre. I think it may be due to the pacing of the record, which is just perfect. Might have to give this one a few more listens to find out...

CHANCE デラソウル - In Media Rez
50

FINE. A messy, but listenable project. Nothing new for the genre, but another decent Future Funk record for those who'd seek it out.

打首獄門同好会 (Uchikubi Gokumon Doukoukai) - ぼちぼちベテラン (Bochibochi Veteran)
40

POOR. Bochibochi Veteran is a flagrantly bizzare J-Rock Metalcore record that doesn't take itself seriously enough to have a decent structure or diversity of tracks, leaving its sense of humor feeling vexing rather than quirky.

Rejoice - All of Heaven's Luck
50

FINE. Short, somewhat unfocused, and subject to a rougher mix than the genre's exemplars, Rejoice's All of Heaven's Luck is a neat but irrelevant Metalcore record.

Club Dogo - CLUB DOGO
60

GOOD. Club Dogo's self-titled effort is genuinely great Boom Bap Hip-Hop. And while I'm sure it's furthering the culture in a place like Italy, the record doesn't do anything for the genre in terms of beats or flows.

Katia Krow - Whispers from the Bloc Obscure
65

GOOD. Meandering or unpleasant repetition are the obvious pitfalls for a Drone record like this, but Katia Krow's Whispers from the Bloc Obscure manages to become sharper and more engaging track by track. This is a detriment in some ways, as the beginning of the record is a very generic atmospheric haze, but as the record progresses its nuances and details blossom in full.

eternalrain.mp3 - dystopia.mp3
50

FINE. A decent Breakcore album. Nothing noteworthy, neither good nor bad.

朱婧汐 [Akini Jing] - VILLAIN
45

POOR. Akini Jing's VILLAIN fails to develop and expand upon her lofty conceptual goals on this record. The production and vocal performances are mostly well-executed, but the record lacks cohesion and ends up feeling like a grab-bag of ideas that needed more time in the oven.

lua trilogy! - AISHA/ISHA
50

FINE. Pleasant but uninteresting Ambient / Nu Jazz record.

ITSOKTOCRY - HESH
35

BAD. To be fair, a lot of HESH is as funny as ITSOKTOCRY has been known to be. Other than for a laugh, I couldn't possibly comprehend why someone would sit down and listen to this...

Frat Mouse - Flea House
45

POOR. Frat Mouse's Flea House is an extremely generic Midwest Emo record. Not unpleasant to listen to, but quite boring. The lyrical content may be interesting if you yourself are an emotional midwesterner, but there's little in the way of new or interesting perspectives on display.

Lego Indiana Jones - Hope All Well
75

VERY GOOD. Lego Indiana Jones' Hope All Well is a record as brilliant as it is hilarious. It's a rare day when a comedy album does such a great job on the instrumental side as well. The well-composed tunes distort along with the punchlines, never becoming a second thought to the lyrics. The record even features a My Bloody Valentine cover, the translation of which from Shoegaze to Piano Rock was quite the daring choice.
