McKinley is the only rapper that I know that does get better with each project. Jazz Rap is easily one of my favorite genres just cuz the styles compliment each other so well. Main issue with these songs is their length. For how long these songs are, they shouldn't take 100 years to start. For example, protective styles. Like it takes a while to start, and then once the first verse is done, you wait around again. And if he wants to do that, the execution could've been far greater. ... read more
This being a trap Travis project, the production is obviously top tier. Every song here is a bop. "It ain't no mosh pit if there ain't no injuries" aged like milk. But once you get past the explosive first half, the quality falls off and the energy definitely dissipates when The Weeknd has his feature but that's to be expected. Not the biggest fan of drill, but this album. Holy shit it's fucking crazy. Most, if not all, of these songs are bangers. Production is so weird but I guess that's drill. Not much to say. It's Chicago Drill. And it fucking bangs. And that's all it really needs honestly.
This album sounds like shit so I don't know how its so good.
One of the best debut albums ever made. The lows, such as No Make-Up (Her Vice) and Tammy's Song (Her Evils) are pretty weak and weird but the highs of this album, such as ADHD and HiiiPower are so magical and moody it's awesome. Not to mention for a debut album, the production is quite phenomenal. Tracks like Fuck Your Ethnicity, Hol' Up, and The Spiteful Chant all sound amazing. With the feature list also being stacked. ScHoolboy Q, Ashtrobot, Ab-Soul and J Cole (on production ... read more
The remix is crazy😭
How has man survived so long by himself? He is taking the West Coast and is currently succeeding! If he wins, very deserved victory.
I mean, Hoshimi Miyabi uses this theme in the cutscene, so I would have given this 200 if I could. Otherwise, still a strong metalcore song. Didn't think this Chinese company could pull it off.
