extremely lyrically weak and imagine dragons esque production

one of my favourites when i was 10 years old but the production is pretty shite and the lyrics are too on the nose and cringe for me. ode to sleep is great and truce is pretty but the album is mid.

incredible debut. jaundice is a super fun modern take on irish trad music.

my personal favourite of liams projects. as someone from ireland who’s big into the irish underground rap scene its nice to see him tapping into that bag as he’s always supported the scene. aubameyang is really fucking good.

i missed this in 2024 but it would have been my album of the year easily holy fuck

I’m insanely biased but i’ll try be as objective as i can be.

The opening track romance is incredible and sets the tone perfectly. The haunting guitars and bell sounds are amazing and even after already hearing starburster its impact was felt after hearing romance first.
here’s the thing is a fun track i love how grian experiments more with his voice in this one.

can’t believe i’ve never heard this until now this is is unbelievable

Huge fan of the lads prior to this but i genuinely didn’t think they had this level in them. The production on every song is fantastic and the lyrics have really matured a lot since cearta came out.

grian chattens chorus is very well put together and sets arne mood for the track well

the sound of the song is what’s more important since most listeners can’t speak irish but since i can my criticism is that the lyrics are slightly unfocused. but still production is great and flows are tidy.

People are defo gonna come here just to shut on without giving it a chance. This is a really really strong project from ken probably the best opium project since whole lotta red. he really improved on x figuring out what works best about his music and building on it. his lyrics (while still not amazing) have definitely improved and if you just zone out and enjoy the vibe and energy the music carries it’s easy to enjoy.
