Tate continuously proves that she could be amazing, but constantly plays it safe. I believe there has been MUCH improvement in her most recent singles, but with her albums, she never truly allows herself to indulge in the ideas and sounds that push the bar and showcase her personality.
Lots of good stuff, kind of too long, nothing sounds bad but not much stands out—a great end to the trilogy.
My first album review of the year and it's a banger. Pure dance-pop perfection, save for a few dips here and there. It was a genuine well-rounded debut that kept me on my feet for the entire runtime. The mix of sometimes brash but bubbly production was genuinely intriguing. I'm so going to wear this out.
Relistened and it feels as fresh as it did when first released. Timeless.
Genuinely will never forget listening to this album for this first time.

Based on the reviews, I thought this would be shit... and it was, but not as much as everyone thinks. Up until LIFETIMES, you can gauge what type of sound you'll get, but from ALL THE LOVE to the end it feels like a bunch of demos, non-fully fleshed ideas, and a whole lot of nothing.
