this compilation is incredibly overlooked. clams often gets his recognition but nowhere near what he deserves. this belongs in the conversation for the best instrumental hip hop album of all time, with how he manages to make these beats feel so overwhelming but without ever sounding out of place.

ive had my eye on totojira since his first project back in 2024. he has outdone himself this time. the production is incredibly rich, with perfect sample choices throughout, and it all feels so smooth. scurra's rapping is great too and helps bring even more out of the production. the features are also excellent, with each fitting well into the beautiful production. a strong album of the year contender.
even though the album has a runtime of ~25 minutes, it still feels complete for what ye was trying to achieve. the last two songs are fantastic and feel like the core of what ye is trying to get across on the album. i can see why yall dont like "all mine", but i find it weirdly fitting on this LP, clemons' voice is oddly catchy and works well here
i was searching for a rapper with "scientist" in their name since i forgot what their name was, and while scrolling through artists, the name "Blizzard The Mad Scientist" caught my eye. i wouldve thought these songs wouldnt be that good, but i was wrong.
the production here is masterful, with tracks like "Deadly Venom" having a jay-z-esque feel to it, with other beats taking inspiration from MF DOOM. the lyricism is clever and there is so much value packed in ... read more
the vision is there, but the execution is off at certain points. still, this is impressive for her age and its clear she fits the rage style well
if i could give this a negative score, i would. otherwise i would have to rethink my scale and everything else would be a 100 in comparison.
first time listening to qire snow and i can tell that hes got plenty of potential. hes got the refreshing production and the lyrics to go with it, but his delivery barely changes, so his voice gets repetitive after a while
THE GOAT IS BACK
i hope ye will update this like he did with TLOP tho, as unfortunately theres still some ai on some of these tracks (all the love, white lines, i cant wait, highs and lows, preacher man, this one here, last breath). apparently some updates are underway since he wasnt happy with the final result so this defo has the potential to be 80+.
generic forgettable trap. logic isnt giving us much here therefore my review ends here.
a great addition to an already great album

no wonder this is a staple in cloud rap. clams and hit-boy cooked HEAVILY alongside the other producers. his delivery in this album is by far his best out of the trilogy. LVL and 1Train are on here? ggs
its hard to make a great album. its even harder to make a great album in a completely different style from everything youve been doing your whole life. what im saying is that, most mainstream artists, rappers especially, dont really take risks THIS BIG with their music. this album (as well as 808s) defies these creative capabilities that artists are restricted to. the production in every song was full and so cohesive while still fitting, even with how experimental this whole thing is

real talk, if tayk hadnt committed atrocities then he wouldve had a prosperous career. i can see him producing better music than most of the current underground rappers FASHO, since his flows and deliveries were one of a kind and his music is so fun to listen to. its a real shame that this will be my only review on tayk as this is his only mixtape.
its like KOTMS but worse AND shorter. the songs are fine by themselves but of course theyre gonna be fine when they reuse the same blueprint that made the biggest hits on KOTMS. it feels like ive heard this stuff before im ngl
thank you @Noob_Ian6581 for the recommendation
i did not expect the top-notch lyricism on this album. it really seemed that Eyedea had a way with words, and not just a way with words, but a completely unique style compared to other rappers at that period. however there are a few things that bring this LP down for me. one of which was the rock elements. this is one of my first rock-infused albums that i've ever listened to, so maybe a part of it comes down to unfamiliarity, but the heavy ... read more
