Listened to this years ago. For some reason never logged it (yes Im using this shit like Letterboxd fuck off). Im a Big ass gecs fan. Love Them guys. Also my butt is very Big. Like the simplicity of this. The noise interludes arent very nice tho. It make me cry. Coming from a Big fan of noise btw.
Huge fan of the use if reacuring motifs across the tracklist. A devistating look into the unfair loss of life in the black communities in America. Where running from the guns of the police is just another normal day. McKinley is a great lyricist and a great storyteller. The amount of worldbuilding he has pumped into 30 minutes worth if songs is very impressive. Cant wait to see what he does next!

Neatly produced pop bangers with an interesting and well explored concept. Unfortunatly, the rest of the songs on the album doesent hit the same high as the first two tracks.

K so Spotify has recommended one if the songs from that green ass album with the Girl in the flower field for some time. I didnt like that song. Cant remember what it was called and im lazy. So when i decided to listen to this, my expectations were very low. I thought i was going to hate it.

Imma keep it real g, i fell asleep.
But that didnt take away from the experiance tbh. I was sitting in a bus. The drive was 1 hour. It had snowed last night. So as i drove through the cold landscape covered in snow wich occasionally would feature the cold shapes of office buildings and factories, i decided to make this first listen. I could not have asked for a better backdrop for my listening experiance.

Sorry but this is just uninteresting. I really like ambient music. I even produce a little myself. But nothing on this record really stands out to me as doing something interesting. It doesent have to, but i would personally like SOMETHING to cling to. I do however like the soundscapes on this album. They are very nice.

A very beutifull, noisy and chaotic record! I love Sputniks abstract yet very visual lyrics.
The imagery is both quirky, playfull and haunting and it compliments the strangely cold world of the album. Also, a quick side note, i love the artwork for this album! It fits the vibe perfectly, and i love the character-design on the lil guy on the front cover.
