While lacking the dynamism of Every Where is Some Where, K.Flay shows that she is by no means losing any energy with her next album. The lyrical content and the style of her singing have a lot to say about the anxious state of the young, but the sing-song nature of her melodies offer a ray of hope, declaring as she does in Song #9 that "it's Only the Dark."
