Let's Start Here.

It took me a lil while to understand Let's Start Here, it was only on my 3rd or 4th revisit where it clicked for me and actually realise how incredible this is. It's super experimental and a very bold decision for Lil Yachty to go in this direction as an artist, but it pays off I mean this album is amazing. I also love the fact this is his most popular album, it deserves the attention and helps him keep making this kinda music. Yachty is truly upgrading his skills as an artist on this project. His vocals are so unique, the production with all the instruments and synths and transitions and beat drops, its genuienly nuts. What an absolute rollercoaster of a listen. I do feel like it lends itself better to a full listen instead of individual songs, but in an era of bloated and mid albums with no cohesive, getting at album as tightly made and exciting as this one is a real treat. Let's Start Here is the hip hop equivalent of Dark Side of the Moon, and I'm all in for it. Cannot wait to see Lil Yachty evolve in his music even futher down the road.
