I can't believe we are actually witnessing the Downfall of Kanye (Music Quality) wise. A few years ago I thought Kanye would never drop anything bad & that he was the GOAT with the best discography ever. But now we are first hand witnessing him self destruct his career & legacy.

Great. Black Thought is giving great verses & incredible lyricism & rhyme schemes like we would all expect him to do. I believe this is the best Stream of Thought mainly because the production is at it's best. My main issues with the other 2 Stream of Thought was the production not matching Black Thought's intensity & it didn't complement him either. In Cain & Abel the production is much better suited. Also having great features from Pusha T, Killer Mike & ScHoolboy Q also ... read more

Yo i know what most of you guys think recently about Famous Dex & how he has fallen off & has let drugs ruin his career but his new album is actually decent. As someone who has hated some of Dexter's previous mixtapes this new album is much better than i expected. If you previously have liked some of his old music don't let this album slip by the cracks.

Don't get me wrong still some shit songs & the album is front loaded but the production for the most part is fun & high ... read more

The Title is right this is a New REASON. Not an Improved one.

I remember REASON just 2 years ago dropping his debut mixtape and I was excited. What striked me the most from There You Have It was his hunger which while being an easy comparison it did remind me of a early Kendrick. His lyrics and storytelling ability mainly was great from that mixtape but this skill is unfortunately lacking in this debut album. I think REASON in this album was trying to hard to be a hit & become as popular ... read more

I like it more than Pray For Paris but PFP is definitely the more commercially friendly album.

Once again Westside proves to have one of the best best selections in current day rap. Alchemist & Just Blaze beats being the ones that wowed me the most. Considering Westside hyped this up to be his first big album it doesn’t really sound any different to his previous projects and like I alluded to in my opening statement I personally think that Pray For Paris has the songs more playable ... read more

3rd mediocre YG album in a row. Just like the last album the first third of the album starts strong then it just dips and turns into a generic, uninspired YG album. Still some classic YG Bangers which saves it from a bad rating but it seems like YG just can’t make a consistently good album anymore. Also someone tell YG that no one wants to hear him draining in auto tune.

3 Highlights: FTP, Out On Bail & Blood Walk

Lowlight: Thug Kry

Beautiful. I binged the first 3 projects of Spill Vill and their growth from 2014 to Today is amazing. JID & EarthGang build on their momentum from their previous albums. This album has also pointed me into Benji and he has really impressed me and I’m excited to see what his future holds and I’m now anticipating his first full length project. Chance also surprisingly gives a good feature. The singing isn’t perfect and on some songs it’s a bit off, but no horrendously ... read more

Not much to say here other than good jazz rap album. Perfect music to play while laying on the pool chair by the poolside on a warm summers day. Soothing beats, hilarious bars from Bronson what else could you want. Not quite as good as his early mixtapes but I believe it’s fair to say that this is a return to form after a lacklustre White Bronco.

3 highlights: Sergio, Shredder & Latin Grammys

Lowlight: Capoeira

Ferg WTF! He really got the biggest song of his career with Plain Jane then has taken a nose dive since. Ferg use to be exciting and would have some mad bangers & Still Striving was a great mixtape fast forward 3 years later & it’s like he’s not even trying anymore. His Hooks have turned to shit most of the beats are very generic. Im glad that my Sydney boys in OneFour got another collab, too bad the song isn’t good (where tf was J Emz?) Say It Again was a much better ... read more

5 songs in I thought Jaden had finally realised his potential. I would turn out to be wrong. Jaden just needs to learn how to cut out filler and make his albums more concise. But then again the whole 2nd half of this album felt like filler.

3 Highlights: Rainbow Bap, Everything & Circa 2015

Lowlight: Bad Connection

White kids from the burbs gunna eat this shit up.

Forgot this album was named under a group of producers since the production on this is for the most part is quite generic & most songs rely on the featured artist to carry it. And Damn some of these tracks are pre laughable. Still some gems on here tho. And if there is one thing in life that is certain it’s that Wiz Khalifa Has GOT NEXT!

3 Highlights: Really Redd, Lemonade, Giddy Up

Lowlight: Right Now

it's decent. It doesn't feel like an evolution that i was hoping for & it isn't an album that is going to put him in the same category as JID, Denzel Curry, Isaiah Rashad etc as best of the new generation. Primary issue for me is how conflicting the albums sound is. Imo Amine still hasn't decided whether he wants to be a rap/pop singer or a conscious rapper yet and he kinda dumps both in this album and hopes that they mesh well. His singing is hit & miss. He sings a lot more than I ... read more

As an Aussie i was hoping this album was going to be good & when i first listened to it last night i was unsure if i liked some of the songs however most of the songs i was 50/50 on i now like on repeated listens. Overall its a pre solid debut album. He hasn't quite found his sound & style, so he is still experimenting a tiny bit with his vocals & some times he does strain his vocals a bit too much but none of the songs to me sound completely bad. The album is also quite coherent ... read more

i really didn't like this & im annoyed that i think this way because i really wanted to love this & was hoping it was going to be like Mac's Circles. When i first heard Righteous I loved it & i thought that my hopes for another Circles was soon to prevail. the 3 other singles leading up to this Tell Me U Luv Me, Lifes A Mess & Come and Go i thought were just okay but after listening to the full album those are now the highlights for me along with the song with Polo G & Kid ... read more
