Catchy, fun and not too long. Production is also really nice (Eden glazing). Yeah i like this more than brat...
The Scythe and Lit Effect are fun, didn't enjoy any of the other tracks much tho. Bored me a bit tbh.
If making the same song 10 times would make you a millionaire this guy would… Oh wait…
Catchy at best, boring at worst. Not outright bad but nothing to go crazy about either.
If he gets some fresh ideas he could be pretty good!
It just doesn't really hook me as much as other Hip Hop records.
I don't really wan't to return to it , tho i think its a great album for his fans.
This grew on me so much over the last couple of months. Forgone might be one of my favorite songs of all time, it's so beautiful.
I love the atmosphere he builds with each song and how it all feels like a big journey. No complaints, with each listen i enjoy it a little more.
Potential man of the music industry strikes again.
This feels like a promising demo tape or a collection of interludes. I really love some of the sounds and ideas here, but they rarely stick around long enough to build anything lasting or memorable.
There’s also not much sense of flow, so the record ends up feeling more like a playlist of vaguely similar songs than an album.
Im sure i will return to this sometimes but i hope his next record will be more like nectar structure wise.
Ryan was my favorite artist by a long shot when I was 16 to 19. I loved his voice, his mostly mellow beats, and I thought his songwriting was genuinely great. Northend Sweetheart showed a ton of potential, especially with him leaning into a more creative indie rock/pop direction.
Unfortunately, his last two records don’t do much for me. Every other song sounds pretty much the same, and his songwriting seems weaker this time around, with some oddly forced rhymes and moments of NF-level ... read more
Might be nostalgia talking, but none of the tracks quite reached the level of my favorites. It’s by no means a bad album — it’s solid and well-made — but I’ll probably find myself returning to his older records more often.
Edit: Damn it kinda grew on me... bumped it from a 60 to a 70. Still not my fav tho and i think he could be a bit more experimental since he has a hand form making weird stuff sound great.
“Set your load down, friend. Don’t know when I’ll see you again” perfectly encapsulates the spirit of the album. This record is about friendship, reunion, and the pure joy of being together. The tracks radiate an infectious energy of brotherly connection that feels genuine. The sound becomes a bit repetitive and is a little too tame for my taste. Still the overall experience is warm, uplifting, and definitely worth a listen.
The record is almost unbearable in its honesty. There’s no metaphor, no poetic distancing to soften it — it’s just a plain, stark confrontation with grief, isolation, and mortality. It’s not entertainment, it’s a lived experience captured in real time.
It’s so different from what I’m used to listening to—in the best way possible. Refreshing, captivating, and overall impressive. The atmosphere and the message fit together perfectly, creating a genuinely artistic experience. It feels more like an experience than an album you’d just throw on during your drive home, but that’s not a bad thing at all.
I’m not sure what exactly didn’t work for me here—it sounds alright, but nothing really stood out.
There are some catchy hooks, but a few tracks felt pretty boring.
I wouldn’t mind hearing this on the radio, but I probably won’t listen to it more than once or twice.

Short Ep with some great production. Iglooghost really has a talent for capturing these sort of ominous/gritty themes.
A step up from last year's Freak Show—which was horrendous—Helium manages to be a little better.
Does that mean it’s good? Sadly, no.
Lyrically and sonically, the tracklist couldn’t be more generic. The beats sound like something straight out of 2015, and the topics—or how they’re tackled—just don’t resonate with me at all.
It really seems like Gerald is stuck in the past, without much personal or technical growth. That’s sad to ... read more
Perfect for the movie, tho for solo listening i prefer "The boy and the heron" soundtrack. But thats just personal taste it is of course still beautiful
