While not as overtly awful as the spring ep, its still a boring as shit album that somehow leaves less of an impact then most of their other bad material. Like the worst aspects of this album are how lifeless some of the songs feel, when Weezer try to go this weird dance rock shit that just feels like a dollar tree version of something like Franz Ferdinand or The Strokes. I will say there are a few moments where Weezer manage to make a banger here and there, but Jeeeesus this was rough to get through. Im kinda dreading to see what they have planned for winter, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get there I guess :/.
