so so so much potential in these guys. got to see them perform at Gov Ball 2022 and they were definitely interesting. after coming to this project, i can say that the studio versions of some songs feel like a bit of a let down, primarily CASINO and BETTER DAYS, as they both had a lot more energy live. these guys just need a bit more edge in their style, they are close to something special, but as they stand, they are a a bit repetitive, and occasionally a bit boring.

this album acts as the peak of peggys work to date. though featuring some tracks that give off a bit of a filler vibe, and having some questionable interludes, each and every piece of music on this album have been crafted with so much nuance and care that it really shows. songs like TIRED, NERVOUS, & BROKE! as well as KISSY FACE EMOJI (🔥) exude strong vibes of polish and completeness, and almost work in a new style of music for him. as expected, the project is an assault of samples, with ... read more

this ghais is great. a friend of mine found him in a spotify shuffle a few months before this album came out, and im so glad he did. this album is just track after track after track of crazy samples, bold flows, and conscious bars. its a really strong project, and it works out great for his first full length venture

in denzels most apparently introspective project to date, denzel tackles his past history of regrettable actions, and discusses what it has taken for him to better himself. while this project doesnt come through with a bold concept like taboo, it provides easily perceivable bars with a strong message. denzels pen game is on point once again, filling the album with funny and serious quotables. great features combined with excellent sequencing make for a thoroughly enjoyable listening experience.,

kendrick returns in bold form, and this time around he is here to focus on himself. across the themes of introspection, and not only coming to terms with your past actions, but acting to improve yourself upon those actions, kendrick will tell you that he is not in fact your savior. he quite literally discusses his struggle through his savior complex, after providing us with a series of songs exposing and dissecting his flaws and wrongdoings that make him just like us (disc 1). he also spends an ... read more
