An incredibly haunting, abstract, and noisy folk album with enough growth and progression to keep you engaged for the entire hour of its run
Despite me not being familiar with this artist or genre kinda, i actually enjoyed a fair bit of this. While the lyrics and vocals are usually good, what really captivated me was the heavy trap and almost rap rock like production. While i dont see myself returning to this regularly, i appreciate it for what it is (hi julie)

A nightmare and a dream beautifully swirled into one whole experience. Boards of Canada finally return with their most diverse, and dreamlike album yet, but it still keeps the dark aspects of albums like Geogaddi looming in the background. All of the vocal samples and chops all neatly tie the album together, formulating a masterpiece.
Genesis Owusu comes through with some of the punchiest hip hop/soul production ive heard this year, all while providing some incredible lyrics of the terrible world we live in.
Fav Tracks: PIRATE RADIO, STAMPEDE, FALLING BOTH WAYS, MOST NORMAL AMERICAN VOTER:, SITUATIONS, RUNNIN OUTTA TIME, BIG DOG
While i dont think its as good as Wallsocket, U proves that underscores is still a master at crafting a rhythmic and fun pop album.
