RHYTHM AND POETRY

The definition of hip hop, and honestly the simplest definition for this album.

R.A.P Ferreira recites good poems over instruments with immense quality and makes a super decent jazz rap album.

A fantastic environment, maybe it could have been a little bit reduced but it's 52 minutes of good music.

It's an album to taste, very conscious abstract hip hop. Excellent production very consistent and solid album.

The title of this album feels good, but I think it could have been a much more visceral experience.

Super energetic super thick, a solid album that follows Stoner's foundations but manages to give us the feeling of a punk rock album.

A problem with this album is that in the longest songs they found it difficult to keep the rhythm and make the music constantly interesting.
I liked the progression they made in some songs, which prevented what happened in the longest songs.
The performances are ... read more

Please tell me, tell me, please, something this guy has new or interesting.

Yes, this review is worthless, but I just couldn't find anything to say, everything is so ordinary, so mediocre, super derivative.

(THIS REVIEW IS OLD, JUST NOW I REALIZED THAT I NEVER PUBLISHED IT)

A super strong start, it really blew my mind the way this album forced me to move my head.
I loved it, great choruses, and super catchy and "dancable" instrumentals, a powerful and colerfull start.
A very "smiling" sound. Quite energetic.

However, the transition to the second half of the album, that is, the middle of the album, the attempt to sound a little more experimental, and a little more slow and ... read more

Anxious describes little what he felt before this album, what could be expected after a single like Gospel For A New Century.

I would like this album to have more songs with the energy of that single, or of Medicine Burn, but the calmer moments of the album, although not so euphoric, are also interesting.
I think the beginning of the album is fantastic, the pace is slowing down but I still think it's a solid and very decent album.
Excellent production, good performances and good ... read more

FANTASTIC.

Okay, I wasn't expecting to like this album so much.

Thundercat pulls from all his talents to make a funny, smooth, solid album and a very funky and soulful experience.

Here we see that Thundercat was necessary to build the sound of some TPAB songs.
Lots of influence from label colleagues like Mr. Kamasi Washington.
A very strong help from the legendary Flying Lotus.

I think the only thing I didn't like was that Zack Fox didn't sing, or just released a verse. I WANT MORE FROM ... read more

Why is most of the album not as good as the last 4 songs?

I thought it was interesting, but at the same time I think during most of the album it speaks of some consistency, a consistency that seems to appear at the end of the album.

The talent is visible, now just keep an eye on the DJ and Korean producer.

Is this the attempt to make another tik tok song?

Everything here is delivered in a super decent way, maybe it deserved more recognition, but there are two problems that lead
this album more for mediocrity than for grandeur.

The first and least important problem is unidimensionality, I think this album suffers a little bit of it, it kinda doesn't have a lot of variability however, there is some dynamics.

Now the biggest problem, is Kendrick's blatant influence.
Obviously, "good kid, m.A.A.d. city" and "TPAB" are going to ... read more

WOW.

It's nothing super original, it's simple, but the energy, damn, the energy that this album has.

Super frantic, with excellent melodies and fantastic performances.

The themes, the emotion, the performances, the energy, all together make for an excellent experience and this debut album just makes me excited to hear more from this Detroit band.

Melee is a sad, happy, energetic, brutal album, it is a very interesting album and a good surprise.

I was really looking forward to this album and it didn't disappoint.

The songs on this album are so fast that I think they beat Usain Bolt, or Britney Spears.

Gautier Serre, better known as Igorrr, is a French musician who has launched his solo work for 10 years, in 2017 he joined vocalists Laurent Lunoir and Laure Le Prunenec and the drummer Sylvain Bouvier to his Igorrr project

Is this rock music for boomers?

A bit boring. Pearl Jam returns with one of the least creative and original rock albums I can remember.

The album is one-dimensional, so imagine this as a big song, which we seem to have already heard.

In addition to being 57 minutes of music, which Jesus Crist, was difficult, because it is boring.

It’s not bad, because ... I don’t even know why I don’t give it a lower rating, but ithis is weak.

Oh how nice.

I think Knxwledge, if he try harder, could make a great album, if he did a more ambitious project.

Despite being liked, it seems to me that this album was not prepared for it, but this is the result of the compilation of what was distributed by Knxwledge's pc.

If it was more thoughtful and had more features this would be much better but it still makes it a very decent album

Well, funny, surprisingly I always give the same rating to Comethazine, I think it's funny, I think the lyrics are dumb but somehow funny.

If he puts effort to his music? No, is that bad? Yes, but it's not that bad, it's funny, you can entertain minimally just by looking at the lyrics.

I always go out laugh at a Comethazine project, and I even say that in the coming years he will be able to come out with a good project, or he will remain completely the same without any kind of ... read more

THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST DISRESPECTFUL AND IGNORANT ALBUMS I HAVE EVER HEARD, DISGUSTING.

I just want to say a joke before I start.

Is Joyner Lucas the non biracial Logic?

THIS IS DISRESPECTFUL TO THOSE WHO HAVE ADHD

In addition to all the criticisms that are already made, that Joyner Lucas is more an apologist for "real rap", that boring and lame movement in which rappers find themselves more lyricist or loyal to the roots of hip hop and spend most of the time saying they are and ... read more

This is Drake when he does R&B, so you see what this is.

PARTYMOBILE is an excellent album ... an excellent album if you are 12 years old and you are going through a romantic disappointment and you think you discovered R&B.

I can't remember this year hearing such an uninteresting album, even looking at the worst albums I've heard this year, they at least have one or two interesting moments, or are so bad that they end up being interesting, but this album, neither one nor the other, is ... read more

Lately I have been waiting so much for the albums that afterwards they end up not meeting expectations.

In this case, both satisfied and did not.

I'm going to enter 3 levels here, which I don't know why, but in my head they make sense.
Charli XCX, Dua Lipa, Selena Gomez
I don't know why but I think Dua Lipa is in the middle of the two, but unfortunately I think she is more on the side of Selana Gomez than the powerful Charli XCX.

I think the existence of the commerciality of her label is ... read more

I don't think it's fair to say that this is Nicolas Jaar's second album this year, for me it's the first.
Although Jaar is the head behind the brilliant project Against All Logic, the mindset taken for A.L.L and the mindset for any album in his own name, are completely different.

In A.L.L we have energy, creativity, effusion. In his own name we have more ambient projects.

I was really looking forward to this album, because I love A.L.L, I like Nicolas Jaar, and I'm a fan of ambient music ... read more

I increasingly love the dynamics of Portuguese electronic music.

PEDRO, is a Portuguese DJ and producer on the label of compatriot BRANKO "Enchufada Na Zona" that has a stamp when it comes to the junction of several genres of electronic music including, afrohouse, techno, uk bass out there.
They have been playing an important role in electronic music for several years now, with very decent work over the years.
