This is my first time listening to Parannoul, and it didn’t disappoint in the slightest.
Took a couple of tracks for this record’s somewhat eclectic sound to click with me but once it did, it truly blew me away. Every genre that Parannoul pulls from fit together like pieces of a puzzle, elevating each other much further than I was expecting.
Best: 'Insomnia', 'Parade', 'Imagination'
Worst: 'Sketchbook'
album started pretty strong, but quickly descended into a compilation of bland and unoriginal dance pop songs. not terrible by any means, just not anything special.
I've not been a fan on any of Yachty's recent projects. That being said, i was really looking forward to this album. I was expecting a change in direction for him with his apparent creative growth behind-the-scenes, but nothing of this magnitude or quality.
The neo-psychedelic sound that Yachty establishes here is fairly polished, to my surprise. There's definitely some moments where it felt like he was sliding into old habits, but the writing is solid overall. It's also nice to see a ... read more
this album isn't ground-braking by any means, but Kenny Beats strikes up a consistently pleasant sound, with a few great stand-outs.
Best: 'Hold My Head', 'Still', 'Eternal'
Worst: 'Family Tree' (not terrible)
