Chromakopia is great but I feel it really lacks what he was going for in the original songs he released beforehand. He had a vision of loud and abstract songs, and I was ready for the whole album to be that aesthetic. In Utero is abrasive, unique, tactical, beautiful, sad, and emotional. This album is terrifying. I was so lost in the music when I heard it, I was in a completely different zone. For context, I had incense in the room, and I just laid back in my chair, not knowing what was next. The rawness of the actual vinyl was so high quality yet so original and untouched. I fell asleep immediately after this album. Final song made me cry no joke.
