The jump from Z to such low self esteem music kinda crazy lmao but DAMN THIS IS AMAZING
SZA’s most polished and personal project yet, Ctrl takes everything good about hip hop at the time and applied it to SZA’s beautiful talent and the stories she had to tell. And with that, we get the honesty of Garden and Drew Barrymore, lyricism of Doves In The Wind, (omfg love the Kendrick feature so much) and the amazing production of the entire album (specifically Pretty Little Birds). Also it’s just so replayable. ESPECIALLY the first half of Wavy omfg I LOVE THAT SONGGG
