Jihyo you’re killing me. I’m gonna be completely honest this is very biased. Zone is pretty damn good, it’s refreshing K-Pop. Like a breath of fresh air. Take off the production on every single song and the album would be probably the same quality. Jihyo’s voice her VOICE just has be going crazy. Plus like it’s Jihyo you knew she was going to deliver. The only complaint is Don’t wanna go back. I stg if I hear that goddamn guitar I feel like I’ve heard ... read more
Hearing the snippet for Girls’ Capitalism and learning the name I WAS HYPED FOR THIS. The “lalalala” just had me hooked. Luckily the entire project is good not just the tt. Lovelution is consistent in my eyes, there’s no BAD songs on here. But other than two none go further to out of this world. Still overall this delivers and is like crack to me it’s so catchy.
Favs- Girls’ Capitalism and Seoul Sonyo Dress

I was scrolling through twitter and saw RM getting hate for posting Bad Religion and thought “it’s finally time to finish this album”.
Channel Orange imo is it’s second half. It has some of Frank’s most compelling and important songs in his career. The first half is still good but the second half man. Just too good. I’m not a frank ocean fanatic but Channel Orange is a good album.

As a Jazz newbie, is this how all Jazz heads feel. Felt like I was on an entirely different earth free floating listening to eve title track.
“He came out of his coma. We left a sketch pad and pencils by the bed. He did a drawing, went back into the coma, and died.”
A regression of knowledge because humans aren’t immortal and coming to terms with it. Strange to me but I get it. The skeleton with pasta on his gets it too. Replica serves as a space, a lone dark space with just clips coming back to us in time.
Favs- Replica, Sleep Dealer, Nassau and Andro.

“Great is the Lord, and most worthy of praise, in the city of our God, his holy mountain. Beautiful in its loftiness, the joy of the whole earth, like the heights of Zaphon is Mount Zion, the city of the Great King. God is in her citadels; he has shown himself to be her fortress”

This is the perfect summer album, I hate that I listened to it at the END of summer.
Twice is trying to kill me with their perfect discography. Taste of love is like drinking a nice ice cold water on the beach while the sun glares down on you. So enjoyable I almost got up and started dancing for how catchy this album is.

Took a week but i finished it. The best parts of this album is Rocha going “UGHHHHH” on most of the tracks and i’m being completely serious.
RATM’s self titled is a piece of art and a piece of history. I say history because a lot of the people who look up and love this album completely misinterpret the message choosing to ignore it. Only focusing on how much of a banger this album is would just be the equivalent of pissing on it. The self titled is a movement in itself ... read more
What a stellar album from Prince. Honestly the best parts of this album were the more slower tracks. I think something that stands out especially in those slower tracks is Princes’ vocals. Especially with how amazing the production is even on the bad tracks it still stands out (Ex. Hot Thing). So it just enhances his vocals even more. But with the more up and groovy tracks you just want to get up and dance like in the penultimate track It’s gonna be a beautiful night. You just ... read more
What a experience of an album. Scrolling through AOTY and setting a list of great closing tracks I stumble upon this album. Not only is the closer DYED great the album itself is a gem. The recording sounds off but tbh it just adds to the experience. The only problem is that sometimes the album drifts and not sound up to par if that makes sense. But a great album nonetheless.
Favs- Matataki and DYED
Least Fav- To A Pace Of Color.
LOOK. Now… I don’t like the album as a whole. It can get boring at some points and drag on imo. BUT other than that this album as some fucking gems on it. I would much rather listen to this group of songs than the album itself.
